As you're probably aware, it's not wise to keep private information, such ATM numbers, credit card numbers, and passwords, on your Palm Pilot. Although you can mark memos as 'private', anyone who picks up your machine will be able to read them. Memo Safe is a Memo Pad replacement, which has all Memo Pad's features, enhanced with additional secure encryption for memos you need to keep secure. The encryption feature is easy to use: you only need to enter your password once for each session. Features include: memo encryption in plain text for easy backup; Find support which searches encrypted memos after you enter your password; compatible with other Palm Pilot applications; configurable user preferences, including hidden password entry, optional separate passwords for each memo, save encryption password, and numeric pad password entry; and more. Note: there is no way to recover your encrypted memos if you forget your password; however you can delete the memos. A good Help file is included with the program.
